2026 Kids Bowl Free Program Updates
Kids Bowl Free continues to grow year after year, and 2026 is shaping up to be our biggest and most impactful season yet. After a record-breaking summer that saw more than 3.65 million kids registered, we’re focused on crossing the 4 million kid milestone while helping centers drive more visits, more engagement, and more in-center spending.
To support that goal, we’ve rolled out several new tools, enhancements, and marketing opportunities designed to make it easier for centers to promote the program and maximize results. From expanded digital advertising and in-app promotions to enhanced text messaging, influencers, and creator-driven content, these updates are built to help your center have a successful Kids Bowl Free summer in 2026.

Digital Ad Match
Kids Bowl Free’s Digital Ad Match program continues to be one of the most powerful ways centers can grow registrations heading into summer. As schools have become harder to reach with printed materials, Digital Ad Match has stepped in with highly targeted ads delivered to families most likely to participate in Kids Bowl Free.
Centers that participate consistently see stronger registration numbers, and in 2026 the program gets even better. Centers who open their registration page on or before March 1, 2026 can qualify for bonus ad dollars, helping you reach more families faster across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and more. The result? More kids registered, more families through your doors, and stronger summer traffic overall.
KBF App Custom Ads
New for 2026, Kids Bowl Free App Custom Ads give centers the ability to promote a single custom offer directly to Kids Bowl Free families using the app. These in-app ads are a great way to highlight revenue-driving options such as summer shoe rental passes, Kids Bowl Free meal deals, or arcade specials.
Centers that tested app ads during the 2025 season saw increased in-center spending, and this feature gives you a simple way to communicate your offer to families already engaged with your program. Custom ads are designed for you and deployed directly inside the Kids Bowl Free app.
Enhanced SMS / Text Message
Text messaging continues to be a big win for Kids Bowl Free. After successful testing in 2025, Enhanced SMS will play an even larger role in 2026. SMS is used to re-engage past families, encourage Family Pass upgrades, and remind families when it’s time to redeem coupons.
As the program expands, texting will also be used to prompt score logging and other key actions that help increase visits and spending. Proper coupon redemption using your center PIN is critical, as it allows these messages to be timely, relevant, and effective.
KBF Kick Off Module
The Kids Bowl Free Kick Off Module is designed to help centers launch their summer program with energy and visibility. After testing successful kickoff events in multiple markets, Kids Bowl Free is rolling out a framework that allows centers to host their own local kickoff near the start of their program.
These events are designed to generate buzz, attract families, involve local influencers, and even draw local media attention — all while encouraging food and beverage spending during peak times. It’s a great way to start the summer strong and let your community know Kids Bowl Free is back.
Neoverse
For centers using Neoverse or other video wall systems, Kids Bowl Free offers custom-designed graphics to promote your program in-center. These visuals can be sized specifically for your display system and even include a QR code that links directly to your registration page.
It’s a simple way to turn your video walls into powerful registration and awareness tools while enhancing the in-center experience for families.
KBF Influencers
The Kids Bowl Free Influencer Program continues to grow each year. With thousands of influencers helping spread the word, Kids Bowl Free reaches families through authentic, community-driven content on social media.
Opening your registration page early is key — influencers begin promoting Kids Bowl Free as early as March 1, and having your page ready ensures you don’t miss out on early registrations driven by this content.
KBF Creators
The Kids Bowl Free Creators program focuses on capturing real families bowling at centers across the country. These creators provide high-quality video content that Kids Bowl Free uses to create marketing assets for all participating centers.
Creators are selected through an application process and compensated by Kids Bowl Free, helping ensure a steady flow of authentic, family-focused content that reflects the true Kids Bowl Free experience. In 2026, top creators will return alongside new families joining the program.
